ABOUT US Where Culture Becomes Couture

At Yelé, connection is the foundation of everything we do. We believe fashion is more than clothing, it is a bridge that links people to culture, creativity, and community. Founded by Abisola Omoyele Oladeinde, Yelé is an Afro luxury fashion brand rooted in Afro futuristic aesthetics. We create ready to wear and custom pieces that blend bold African heritage with contemporary design, allowing people to express pride, confidence, and individuality. Yelé is more than a brand, it is a platform for storytelling, cultural celebration, and transformation.

…where Abisola first learned to sew at sixteen when she could not find clothes that truly expressed her identity. What started as necessity became artistry, blending her scientific background with creativity and design. In 2019 she came to the United States with a suitcase and a vision to honor Yoruba culture while building bridges across communities. That vision became Yelé, a brand that uplifts through garments, education, and dialogue. Today, Yelé connects individuals to their heritage and to each other through fashion that inspires and empowers.

Our Mission at Yelé

Our mission is to use fashion as a tool to preserve culture, promote self expression, and create opportunity for underrepresented communities,

We reshape the meaning of luxury by centering African pride, rooted heritage, and authentic craftsmanship. Through initiatives like Runway Revolution, our 10 week mentorship program for emerging designers, we support creativity and community growth.

Whether through a garment, a class, or a conversation, Yelé transforms fashion into a catalyst for confidence, healing, and empowerment.

Yelé's Heritage

We merge this heritage with modern silhouettes and global aesthetics, creating a balance that honors African culture while resonating across the world. This foundation of heritage guides everything we create and everything we teach.

Yelé’s heritage is grounded in Yoruba storytelling, symbolism, and tradition. Our designs reflect exclusive prints, hand drawn fabrics, and visual affirmations drawn from Yoruba cosmology. Every piece is a cultural vessel that preserves memory, identity, and pride, especially for those in the diaspora seeking to reconnect with their roots.
