Our Story
Born from Culture. Built with Purpose.
Yelé is a celebration of African heritage, femininity, and artistry — brought to life through fashion and lifestyle pieces that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.
Founded by Baltimore-based designer Abisola Oladeinde, Yelé was born from a deep reverence for African culture and a belief that every woman deserves to feel powerful in what she wears. Every piece in the collection carries that intention.

Prints That Tell a Story
Every Yelé print begins with a hand — and a story.
Our original designs are hand-drawn by skilled artisans in Nigeria, rooted in African symbolism, Yoruba tradition, and the visual language of a culture that has always known how to speak through cloth. These drawings are then transformed into batik prints — an ancient resist-dyeing craft that gives each print its distinctive depth, texture, and soul.
From there, we bring the prints to life across a range of luxurious fabrics — silk, cotton, mesh, and more — each chosen to honor the integrity of the original design. The result is something you will not find anywhere else in the world: a print that carries the hands of Nigerian artisans, the vision of a Baltimore designer, and the story of a culture worth celebrating.
The Unity Print. The Royalty Print. These are not just patterns. They are heirlooms in the making.

Crafted with Intention
From our Luxe Silk-Lined Hairwear to our statement kimonos, bespoke gowns, and co-ord sets — every Yelé piece is designed with intention. True luxury is not just about how something looks. It is about how it makes you feel. Elegant. Powerful. Unapologetically yourself.
A Legacy in the Making
Yelé is a Baltimore-born brand with a global soul. We are building a legacy that honors the past while embracing the future — one exclusive print, one handcrafted piece, one empowered woman at a time.
